A trident within a central circle surrounded by ‘śrī śrī Jaya Bhāskara’ (‘Lord Lord Jaya Bhaskara’ in Newar); Eight auspicious signs within the eight petals around the circle; all within a circle surrounded by a beaded border. Rev. Within a central circle, a garlanded sword between two imitation Persian letters; around, ʻMalla Devaʼ (ʻMalla Devaʼ inNewar); below the sword, date in Nepal Sambat ʻ821ʼ (in Newar); within the eight petals around the circle, ‘Nepāreśvara Girindra’ (‘Lord of Nepal and King of the Hills’ in Newar).
